Updated CIP Construction Health & Safety Manual
Build UK and its members continue to drive health and safety performance in the industry, ensuring that the latest industry-recognised policies and standards are included in the Construction Industry Publications (CIP) Health & Safety Manual.
The latest edition of the Construction H&S Manual features the Build UK Site Induction Standard, updated Build UK and IPAF guidance on MEWPs and reviews from Trade Association members SAEMA, NFDC and NASC on health and safety issues surrounding the use of Permanently Installed Suspended Lifting Equipment, Explosives and Working at Height.
Other recent additions to the manual include the Build UK Safety Helmet Colours Standard and updated detail surrounding the Construction Logistics and Cyclist Safety (CLOCS) Programme, an initiative supported by Build UK.
Helping the industry work safely for over forty years, the Construction H&S Manual, also known as the ‘Blue Book’, is a one-stop shop for information and practical guidance on all health and safety issues that affect the construction process. CIP is offering all Build UK members an exclusive 30% discount on the Manual, which is now available on all formats.
