Redevelopment of the Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test
At the end of 2017, CITB outlined a number changes to the Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) test.
Since then, CITB has carried out a review of existing questions, introduced new question styles and updated all revision materials.
Support required
The HS&E operatives test is now being developed to introduce new questions. These will be aligned to the updated topic areas, which have been defined with support from industry.
To ensure the HS&E test continues to contribute towards a qualified workforce, with the right knowledge, skills and training, it is essential that industry continues to provide assistance with the development of the test.
CITB is looking for support with the:
- review of the HS&E managers and professionals (MAP) and specialist tests to ensure they meet industry requirements
- future of revision materials.
Ongoing support is also required from health, safety and environment subject matter experts to become members of the test question sub-committee (TQSC).
