Can you build it?

FIS Skills is launching their #iBuiltThis2017 flagship campaign on Friday 14 July.

#iBuiltThis2017 is designed to get the construction industry, its supply chain and the British public to participate and show how proud they are of their contribution to the UK built environment.

The campaign, which is run for a period of three months on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter is open to everyone, including those working in the industry, to share images or selfies of anything they have built themselves or have helped to build, both internal and external.

On a fortnightly basis, the winners for the fortnight will be announced and automatically entered into the final selection. It is an all age inclusive campaign, with three specific age categories – under 12, 13 to 18 and 19 and over.

Entries close on 13 October 2017, and the finalists shortlisted in all categories will be released on social media where the public can vote for their favourite project submission.

It is very easy to participate, simply follow the three steps below:

1. Entrants are requested to take a picture or selfie of themselves with the image of their completed project they built or helped to build using the hashtag #iBuiltThis2017.

2. Entrants are requested to submit their entries to the FIS Skills social media platform of choice, Instagram, Facebook or Twitter. They must use the hashtag #iBuiltThis2017 and insert their details in the comments section (name, site and project header in the comments section)

3. Entrants must follow and like the platform they submit to.
