Help tackle modern day slavery within the supply chain

In order to raise industry awareness and influence action on tackling Modern Slavery in the construction sector, Stronger Together are organising a one-day interactive workshop.

The workshops are available in three UK cities across the next few months:

  • Manchester, 9th February, 9:30am – 3:30pm
  • Bristol, 14th March, 9:30am – 3:30pm
  • London, 11th April, 9:30am – 3:30pm

It has been estimated that 45 million people globally are enslaved in different industries. Modern day slavery has been found in 167 countries with the UK being moved from low to medium risk in the 2nd edition of the Modern Slavery Index, and construction is pinpointed as a high risk sector. Stronger Together was established to help and guide businesses to further understand their responsibilities on human rights. The establishment provides the tools, resources and training to educate employers and employees in the construction industry on this vital topic.
