27 January 2017

The deadline for submitting entries to the Construction News Awards 2016 has been extended until Friday 29 January offering companies across the industry further opportunities to showcase their work.

The Construction News Awards are a fantastic way of gaining recognition for the achievements of your business, whatever your size or specialism. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the awards this year, there are 20 award categories, including two new ones. The Housebuilder of the Year award will recognise companies achieving excellence in the residential sector and the Diversity Champion of the Year award will highlight those making strides to improve the balance of their culture and workforce.

In case you need a little inspiration on how to make your entry stand out, this year’s judging panel have shared their top tips for writing an award-winning entry. The judging process is one of the most rigorous in the industry and the panel of over 50 judges includes some of the UK’s top construction clients. All short-listed finalists will be invited to give a face-to-face presentation on why their entry deserves to win.

So whether you have a project that you’re particularly proud of or you have shown innovation and excellence in a particular area, don’t keep it to yourself; enter this year’s Construction News Awards via the Construction News Awards website. The awards will be presented on Wednesday 14 July at Grosvenor House in London.
