Build UK Kick Starts 2017 with Three New Members
Build UK has welcomed two more Client organisations and a Contractor member to its collective voice as it continues to drive positive change by welcoming all areas of industry to the table.
Derwent London is one of London’s most innovative office specialist property regenerators and investors and is well known for its design-led philosophy and creative management approach to development. The Group owns and manages an investment portfolio of 6.2 million sq. ft., of which 98% is located in central London.
British Land owns, manages and develops high quality properties focused on regional and local retail and leisure around the UK, and offices and residential in London. British Land manage assets worth £19 billion with occupancy rates of 98.1%.
In addition to Build UK’s bourgeoning Client membership body, its Contractor voice continues to grow with Keltbray Group joining the Build UK family.
Keltbray Group is a UK leading specialist business, which offers engineering, construction, demolition, decommissioning, remediation, rail, environmental services, piling and reinforced concrete structures solutions. The company has over the past four decades grown to become a £375 million group of companies that provide specialist services and is unrivalled in the UK.
Keltbray’s membership adds significant weight to Build UK as it continues to drive positive industry change. Keltbray will remain a loyal member of a number of Build UK’s Trade Association members to support change within specialist sectors.
Build UK was created to provide a strong collective voice for the construction supply chain. Its fast-paced growth demonstrates the wider change that is developing in construction, with collaboration taking centre stage as a meaningful way of tackling industry challenges.
Leadership has been displayed on key issues such as pre-qualification, payment and the industry’s image and 2017 is set to be another busy year for Build UK as it delivers further change to future proof the construction industry.
