Construction News Summit Programme Continues to Take Shape
The Construction News Summit programme continues to take shape with even more industry leaders announced to join the speaker panel at October’s event.
The Summit, which is supported by Build UK and will take place from Tuesday 11 – Wednesday 12 October at the Hilton Bankside Hotel in London, is designed for leaders of major construction companies and suppliers and provides a fantastic opportunity to communicate with the UK's key clients and the government in order to raise construction higher on the political agenda, discuss future investment plans and consider how industry developments will affect business strategy. For contractors who want to win work at a more profitable margin, there will be the opportunity to connect with leading politicians, senior government figures and influential public and private sector clients.
The programme is currently under development with contributions from the industry and the Summit’s new Advisory Board, which includes Build UK Chief Executive Suzannah Nichol, and features plenary sessions chaired by broadcaster and journalist Andrew Neil. Over 100 speakers and 50 major clients will participate in interactive debates and workshops designed to promote active discussion regarding the outlook of the industry.
The latest speakers to be announced on the panel include Sadie Morgan, commissioner of the National Infrastructure Commission; Mike Grice, Construction Director at Battersea Power Station Development Company; Jim O'Sullivan, Chief Executive of Highways England, and many more. A full list of speakers is available on the Construction News Summit website.
A saving of £100 is currently available on all bookings and Build UK members can retain a further 20% discount by booking online and using the promotional code BUILDUK. To book your place and for more information, visit the Construction News Summit website.
